The Old Shoemaker

In a land where the snow falls thickly and cold winds blow, there is an old shoemaker in a little town struggling to make ends meet. It’s almost Christmas, but he has nothing much to eat except a broken piece of candy and some old cheese. Cold and hungry, he tries to make one last pair of shoes with the little bit of leather he has left. But he has little hope and even less warmth. Will the old shoemaker finish making his shoes? Can anyone help him?

The Old Shoemaker is a heart-warming and magical adaptation of the Brother’s Grimm classic tale, the Elves and the Shoemaker. Combining story-telling, puppetry and lots of audience interaction, this is a charming tale about kindness, generosity and a reminder than sometimes a little help can go a long, long way.

Suitable for children aged 3 to 8 years old.
